"How much does it cost to hire a companion?" is one of the most common questions we get — and one most agencies dodge. Here's a straight answer, plus a genuinely good reason it doesn't apply to us right now.
Why most agencies don't publish a rate card
Companionship pricing typically depends on several variables at once: the type of occasion, how long the engagement runs, whether travel is involved, and how far in advance it's booked. A dinner reservation and a multi-day trip aren't priced the same way, so a single number on a website would be misleading more often than helpful. Reputable agencies discuss terms clearly during confirmation instead — not because pricing is a secret, but because it genuinely varies.
What usually affects the cost
- Occasion type — a quiet dinner is a different commitment than a multi-day trip or a formal gala.
- Duration — hourly, an evening, or several days.
- Travel — engagements requiring travel outside the immediate service area typically factor in time and logistics.
- Notice — last-minute requests can be harder to arrange than engagements booked with lead time.
Right now, none of that applies here
All services arranged through The Private Companion are free for every client until December 2027. Every one of our nine services — from Dinner Companionship to Travel Companionship — is included at no cost during this period. The screening process, matching, and standard of discretion are exactly the same as they'll be after the free period ends; only the fee is different.
What doesn't change
Free doesn't mean unscreened. Every client and male companion still completes the same screening process and confirms the same eligibility requirements before any engagement is arranged. The free period is a pricing decision, not a shortcut on how carefully engagements are matched and confirmed.
How to get started
Begin a private inquiry the same way you always would — describe the occasion, and we'll take it from there. If you have questions about how long the free period runs or what happens afterward, ask during your screening call; we're glad to explain it plainly.
